The new lighting allows the church to be lit with a wide variety of accent. The important zones of the church (chancel, nave, baptistery and Lady Chapel) can be separately treated. The system allows the church lighting to be tailored to the requirements of the different seasons and to different liturgical settings with special lights for the altar, pulpit, lectern and font. It also gives great potential for the concerts and theatrical events for which St Luke's is well known.
