The shell of Nicholas Hawksmoor's and John James's Church of St Luke , Old Street , built between 1727-33, is Grade I listed. The park with its mature plane trees, ornate tombstones and its surrounding railings had been left untouched for 30 years, though the derelict ruin had been stabilised previously. Following a successful bid for Heritage Lottery funding we have restored the railings and tombs and landscaped the churchyard.
